An Introduction - Day 0


I hate to admit it, but I'm overweight and out of shape. I need some motivation and some accountability in order to get myself into the kind of shape I was in just 18 months ago when I ran a marathon.

So like it or not, you are my accountability partner. All 800+ plus of you who follow me on Facebook and Twitter. I am putting my credibility on the line and will succeed or fail in my goal of reaching my goal weight and 1/2 marathon conditioning by my 38th birthday on October 23rd with you watching. That's 109 days from now.

So here are my goals -

1. Lose 20 lbs. Right now I weigh 170 lbs. My goal is 150. My BMI is 25.76 which according to Wii Fit, means I am officially overweight.
2. Run a 1/2 marathon - Today I ran 2 miles.
3. Feel much better about myself and be a much healthier person.

So hold me to it and make sure I get the job done.
